Summer socials are an enduring tradition for the Yale SOM alumni community across the globe. Each year, these gatherings bring together hundreds of SOM’ers and provide the perfect opportunity to connect or reconnect with alumni and students spending the summer in the area.
Join the Yale SOM Connecticut alumni community for our annual Summer Social on Sunday, June 28th.
This year, we’ll spend the afternoon at the Greenwich Polo Club enjoying one of Fairfield County's classic summer experiences. Our group will watch the match from a dedicated space in the north cabanas located on the west side of the lawn.
During halftime, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in the beloved polo tradition of "stomping the divots", where spectators head onto the field to help replace the divots created by the horses’ hooves during play.

Advance registration is required for this family-friendly event. Tickets include access to our dedicated (partly shaded) space, (1) drink ticket, selection of non-alcoholic beverages, and lite bites.
Please note: Outside alcohol is not permitted on the West side of the lawn. Our section is conveniently located near the food trucks, The Pony Bar, and bathroom trailers for easy access throughout the day. Attendees are welcome to bring their own food. Our section includes seating for about 40 people. Polo is a social event — guests often grab a drink, mix and mingle, or enjoy standing and sitting on the lawn. You’re welcome to bring picnic blankets or a few extra chairs if you’d like for the lawn.
Per the Greenwich Polo Club ticket policy, kids under 12 do not require a ticket for admittance. However, for our registration numbers, we're asking parents to register their children on SOM Connect.
