[VIRTUAL] Inaugural Donald H. Ogilvie ’78 Colloquium
Wednesday, Nov 30 2022 at 5:00 - 6:30 pm EST
Don Ogilvie was a Black alumnus who was a member of the SOM Charter Class of 1978, a beloved Yale College graduate of the Class of 1968, and a local New Haven leader whose promising, impactful, and multisector career was tragically cut short by early death. In a living tribute to Don’s remarkable legacy, the Colloquium, sponsored by Council on Anti-Racism and Equity (CARE), will seek to improve representation in and out of the classroom, to elevate stories not usually told in business, and to bring a diversity of perspectives to SOM.
The keynote address will feature three distinguished alumni leaders of color—Fred Terrell ’82, Lofton Holder ’90, and Judith Scimone ’00—who embody so well SOM’s cherished values both in their careers and in service to their communities. Epitomizing the spirit of the Colloquium, this candid thought exchange will explore the theme of bringing SOM “back to our roots” of the school’s mission to educate leaders for business and society. All alumni are invited to register and join us for this milestone conversation.
