Parting Reflections 2 of 3: The Yale SOM Experience

“It’s almost as if trying to describe a color to a person that’s never seen before. You just have to experience it. You have to go through it, look back, and smile.” – Sanjin ‘12 As hard as I tried to articulate the essence of the past two years in a blog post, I just couldn’t do it. I realized that this is because my experience is so deeply rooted in my relationships with my classmates and, thus, it is only through the assembly of voices that I could paint a picture of our shared experience. So I decided to produce a video. I taped 7 hours of conversations with 28 classmates representing a diversity of backgrounds and interests. “…the two most exciting years of my life, no doubt.” – Agustin ‘12 Here is a one-minute preview:

I’m sorry to say that I can’t share the full one-hour production that we ultimately gathered to watch (it’s replete with inside stories, some of which aren’t quite SFW). But here’s the link to an abridged (10-minute) version: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ECRXtaWGvA8 “Go out in the world and change it for the better, and have a blast doing it. I’ll miss you guys.” – Lee Anne ‘12
