Diana Van Patten

Assistant Professor of Economics

Professor Diana Van Patten’s interests include economic development, international trade, and economic history.

Prof. Van Patten’s recent works center around the economic impact of foreign direct investment and trade in developing countries. She received her PhD in Economics from the University of California in Los Angeles in 2020.

Prior to joining Yale School of Management, Prof. Van Patten was a postdoctoral associate at International Economics Section of Princeton University's Economics Department.
