Uri Simonsohn

Visiting Professor of Behavioral Science

Uri Simonsohn is a behavioral scientist whose research focuses on judgment and decision making, research methods, and the credibility of empirical findings. Much of his work examines how people make decisions, how researchers analyze data, and how statistical practices can affect the reliability of published results. He is especially known for developing tools to detect and address publication bias, p-hacking, and other threats to scientific validity. Uri is visiting this academic year from Esade business school in Barcelona. Before moving to Barcelona Uri was a full professor at the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania
