Katina Grays is the Deputy Director of The Broad Center at Yale SOM. She has over 20 years of experience in operations, strategy, and management in the education and nonprofit sectors. She served as the Managing Director, Data and Operations at KIPP NYC, where she oversaw school operations, data and charter authorization for the network. Prior to that, Katina worked in two state education agencies, the Tennessee Department of Education and the Connecticut State Department of Education, where her work focused on federal funding resources and operations project management. Outside of the education sector, Katina was the Chief Operations and Strategy Officer for the National Institute of Reproductive Health, and Assistant General Counsel - Asia Pacific for Habitat for Humanity International. She was an associate attorney in the corporate practice group at Haynes & Boone. She also served as a federal law clerk to Chief Judge U.W. Clemon in the US District Court for the Northern District of Alabama.
Katina Grays holds a M.B.A. from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan, a J.D. from Cornell Law School, and a B.A. from Trinity College. She is an appointed member of the advisory council of The School at Columbia University in New York.
