Carlos Reyes joined Palladium Equity Partners, a U.S. mid-market buyout firm with $3.5 billion of AuM, in 2021 as a Managing Director as well as the Head of Sustainability.
In Palladium, he also serves on the Board of Directors of Palladium portfolio company Paragon, a company within Palladium's portfolio. His leadership and vision in sustainability are instrumental in driving the firm's commitment to responsible investment practices. Mr. Reyes has more than 20 years of experience in private equity, M&A, and energy commodities trading. Before Palladium, he was at the International Finance Corporation Asset Management Company Division, serving as a Principal in the African Latin American Fund (ALAC), where he managed a broad range of investments across multiple sectors and held several board positions. He also led the design and creation of the IFC Equity Tracker Fund.
Prior to his time at the IFC, Mr. Reyes held several senior positions at BP plc in London, with his last role being one of the Directors of the M&A Group. He began his career as an Evaluation Analyst at the Operations Evaluation Division at the World Bank Group.
Mr. Reyes holds a B.A. in Economics from the Universidad de Barcelona in Spain, a Master's in International Public Policy from George Mason University, and an M.B.A. from the Yale School of Management, where he received a full fellowship by the Fundación Rafael del Pino and was an Olin Fellow.
