Follow the newest students in Yale SOM’s residential master’s degree programs as they explore campus, bond with their cohorts, and prepare for the academic year. 

The school’s student-run impact investment fund, launched last year, has taken a stake in a financial technology company with roots at Yale.

McInnis, who began her tenure as the university’s president earlier this summer, spoke to incoming students in Yale SOM’s residential master’s degree programs on August 16 as part of the school’s orientation programming.

Best known for his book A Random Walk Down Wall Street, which introduced many readers to passive investing, Malkiel was also a Yale SOM dean who helped build the school’s faculty and curriculum.

Four scholars in economics, organizational behavior, and accounting will join the faculty in July.
