Sherilyn Scully served as the long-term Dean of Students and Assistant Dean of Academic Affairs and Student Life of the Yale School of Management. Her portfolio included lead oversight of student programs and resources including, academic services, academic advising, academic support, and the Professional Communications Center. She led coordination of the Honor Committee and the Academic Standards Committee. Her team coordinated and supported Orientation programming, teaching assistants, student clubs and professional conferences, course exemptions and academic requests.
She served on several Yale SOM and Yale University committees including the Admissions Policy Committee, the Silver Scholars Admissions Committee, the Academic Standards Committee, the Honor Committee, the International Advisory Group, and the Student Affairs Advisory Group. She is also a Fellow of Benjamin Franklin College at Yale University.
Sherilyn has served on the Leadership Conference Advisory Group to the Graduate Management Admissions Council and on the Executive Board of the Student Services Section of the American Association of Law Schools. She is a former board member of the Graduate Business Curricular Roundtable, a global association of schools dedicated to informing and inspiring curricular and innovation in MBA programs worldwide.
Sherilyn is currently serving as a facilitator for the discussion sections of Yale SOM’s program the Experienced Leader’s Initiative.
Prior to her career at Yale, Sherilyn was a practicing attorney in Boston working in commercial real estate. She also served as the Dean of Students and as an adjunct professor at the Quinnipiac University School of Law. She is a native of Connecticut and resides in the shoreline area of Connecticut with her husband.
