Pierre Bodéré

Assistant Professor of Economics

Pierre Bodéré's research focuses on empirical industrial organization. His work combines data with equilibrium models to understand the provision of services such as education and health care, and the role government policies can play to mitigate inequality in access to these services. Some of his recent studies have investigated the consequences of public spending in early education on families and providers and have also involved developing new methods to measure wait times for surgical care and their impact on health outcomes. He received my PhD from New York University in 2023.
