Asha Ghosh is a lecturer in the Practice of Management at the Yale School of Management, currently teaching Global Social Entrepreneurship in India. Asha’s research interests include poverty alleviation, urban politics and policy, and community engagement in Asia. From 2019-2024, Asha was the Urban Program Manager at YSE, developing programs and opportunities to expand and support the curriculum related to cities and urbanization and cultivating the Yale Urban Initiative by advancing partnerships and collaboration among Yale faculty, students, and staff to promote research and project opportunities with a multi-disciplinary focus on urban areas. Prior to joining Yale, Asha worked in international development with a focus on decentralization and local governance in Asia.
