A conversation with Josh Wright ’98, the executive director of Ideas42, a nonprofit with the mission of using behavioral science to design scalable solutions to some of society’s most difficult problems. As part of his current role, he helped establish and staff the federal social and behavioral science team during the Obama administration. Prior to Ideas42, he led the Office of Financial Education and Access at the United States Department of the Treasury.

Alia was the founding analyst at Spyglass Capital Management, a concentrated U.S. mid-cap long-only growth fund that launched in 2015. She started her career as the sole analyst at Edgewood Management, a concentrated U.S. large cap long-only growth fund.

Guy Guyadeen ’11, Google

Guy Guyadeen got a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and computer science from UC Berkeley in 2001 and an MBA from the Yale School of Management in 2011. After graduating from Yale, Guy worked in investment banking at JP Morgan and in product management at various tech companies, including Google, Tapcart, and the video-streaming platform Quibi. Currently, he is a senior product manager at Google on the Android team and a part-time lecturer at UCLA.

Bridgette Farrer Muir ’15 is the Founder & CEO of Arrange, a consumer platform built on top of a previously overlooked medium: the calendar. Prior to founding Arrange, Bridgette was a VP and founding team member at Common, where she joined as the second hire. During her five-year tenure, Common grew from an idea to the nation’s leading designer and operator of coliving apartments, with 3,500 units under management and 200 team members across 8 markets nationally.

Sue AnderBois ’13, The Nature Conservancy

Sue AnderBois ’13 is a program manager at the Nature Conservancy in Providence, Rhode Island. She is also running to be the next city councilwoman for Ward 3 in Providence, Rhode Island. Prior to joining The Conservancy, Sue earned her MBA at Yale SOM.  She has worked in a variety of energy and social impact roles for the State of Rhode Island. She received her BA in Environmental Studies from Dartmouth College, where she won a Dean’s Award for service to the community.

Billy Marks ’18, Sparrey Consulting Group

Billy Marks ’18 is a Leadership and Career Coach at The Sparrey Consulting Group. Prior to joining Sparrey, Billy earned his MBA at Yale SOM. He previously worked as a Senior Program Manager at J.P. Morgan, where he was also a Global Lead of the LGBTQ+ employee resource group. He received his A.B. from Harvard University, cum laude, where he majored in Language & Culture and Economic Development. Billy is interviewed by Omolegho Udugbezi.

Paras Malik ’10 is a core member of Boston Consulting Group’s Financial Institutions and Technology Advantage practice areas.
