Over the last 10 years, Ken Muench, CMO of Yum! Brands, and his team have completely reworked and fine-tuned their approach to marketing globally. The new system, R.E.D., is twice as effective as their previous approach and is now taught across every Yum! brand, which has over 50,000 restaurants in over 150 countries. Ken will share the main tenets of the R.E.D. system and dispel a few marketing myths along the way.

Ken Muench is the Chief Marketing Officer at Collider and Yum! Brands, Inc., and has been working in marketing and strategy for about 25 years. Before founding Collider, Muench led Strategic Planning at Draftfcb OC and all of Draftfcb's North American Multicultural offices. Prior to that, he led strategy at the creative boutique Grupo Gallegos — where he won several high-profile industry awards. In 2015, Yum! Brands acquired Collider, the Strategic Marketing Consultancy that worked on Taco Bell’s turnaround, as well as positioning and growth mapping projects for Nestle North America, Verizon, Toyota, Tyson foods, Hulu and more. Since then, Collider has tripled in size and worked in over 30 countries repositioning brands, mapping out growth opportunities with Category Entry Point studies, helping brands find their distinctiveness with Distinctive Brand Asset studies and helping businesses rediscover their mojo in culture with strategic firepower.
