[WEBINAR] Master Class with Professor Robert J. Shiller

Members of the Yale community are invited to join a Master Class led by Professor Robert J. Shiller on Tuesday, July 28, 2020. Professor Robert J. Shiller will deliver a master class drawn from his new book, Narrative Economics: How Stories Go Viral and Drive Major Economic Events, leading a discussion about how to understand and predict major economic events better by taking account of popular economic narratives as they change through time. Issues relate to fake news, economic confidence, and financial crises. The book is an outgrowth of his 2017 American Economic Association Presidential address. The webinar will close with a question and answer session. Copies of Professor Shiller's book will be available to purchase with your registration at a discounted rate.
