Christine Barton, LAW  ‘99, Partner and Managing Director at the Boston Consulting Group, Inc. and her colleague Mario Simon, PhD ‘00, Global Topic Leader, Customer Engagement, will discuss current trends and  challenges facing consumer facing categories such as CPG, F&B, alcoholic beverage, specialty retail, apparel, restaurants, hotels and travel in organically growing low-growth sectors and brands. 

Christine joined The Boston Consulting Group full time after earning a law degree from Yale Law School. She holds a Masters from Oxford University where she was a Rhodes Scholar, after she graduated from the University of Texas at Austin.

Mario holds a PhD with highest honors and two Masters degrees from Yale University, where he specialized in Game Theory and Behavioral Economics. His academic research was sponsored by Fulbright and he was invited scholar to the Stanford Center of Advanced Social Studies. Past roles include  CEO of Kantar Vermeer, a marketing strategy consulting firm he created within WPP that was named among the Fastest Growing Firms by Consulting Magazine,  Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company in New York and as co-founder and principal of BBDO Consulting in London.
