Yale’s Center for Teaching and Learning is offering New York area alumni the opportunity to join Robert Shiller, Sterling Professor of Economics and Noble Laureate, as he conducts an invite-only version of his online course: Financial Markets. Professor Shiller’s course aims to provide a better understanding of how financial markets impact our world. The experience is being offered for free to alumni of Yale who want to learn and reconnect with fellow alumni without travelling to New Haven. The sessions will last seven weeks, starting on October 29, 2018 and concluding on December 15, 2018. Enrollment is first come, first served with a cap of 200 learners. There may be an opportunity to meet Prof. Shiller in person in New York City at the conclusion of the course, but course participation will be required as a prerequisite.
