Markets have reached an unprecedented level of global connections, complexity and rapid change. Hidden Champions as the global market leaders in their niche segments are successfully navigating the resulting challenges through focus and innovation. The inaugural Hidden Champions Conference, a student-run conference at the Yale School of Management, is presented in collaboration with the Hidden Champions Institute (HCI) at ESMT Berlin, Germany’s leading business school. The conference will be held on April 27, 2018 at Yale School of Management’s campus, Edward P. Evans Hall in New Haven, Connecticut. The conference provides a platform to share best practices on how to successfully compete with increasingly diversified players on a global scale. In a selective setting, approximately 100 C-level executives, scholars and students, mainly from the US and Germany, will have the opportunity to expand their professional networks and discuss critical success factors such as digitization, management and employee incentive models and customer-centric innovation.
