The Yale School of Management cordially invites you to attend a Yale SOM alumni reception in Cape Town with Jessica Helfand, Lecturer in Design and Management, Marissa King, Professor of Organizational Behavior, and students from the Yale SOM Classes of 2018 and 2019 who will be traveling in South Africa in March as part of the International Experience. Jessica Helfand’s group will be based in Cape Town. The group will be working collaboratively with architecture students in South Africa to identify and propose alternative solutions for existing problems facing the city of Cape Town. Marissa King’s group will be exploring strategies for achieving inclusive and sustainable growth for companies and countries. The group will travel to both Johannesburg and Cape Town. The student and alumni reception will be held at the One & Only Cape Town, Dock Road V&A Waterfront on Monday, March 19 at 17:00. In addition to currently enrolled students, newly admitted students bound for Yale SOM next year will be joining us, in addition to some prospective students.
