As brilliantly illustrated by Donna Dubinsky '77 speaking at YaleWomen's 2013 Inaugural Conference: "I asked: Why did a man and a woman earn different salaries? He said: I made the same offer. He negotiated; she accepted." Please join us for a one-hour webinar hosted by YaleWomen and led by Deb Ellis ’78.
Deb will engage us in a discussion of topics, including:
- Gender differences and how they affect how women think about negotiating, whether they negotiate, and how they negotiate
- The concept of negotiation, and how to make it a win-win experience
- The implications of the differentials in salary and other benefits throughout a woman’s career
You will be able to ask questions during the webinar via chat, get advice and gain a better understanding of what is available to you during the negotiating process. You can submit questions in advance by writing to firstname.lastname@example.org before Friday, June 9th.
Presenter: YaleWomen Speaker: Deb Ellis ’78 (’82 JD, NYU School of Law) Date: Friday, June 16, 2017 @ 1:00PM (EST) Location: Webinar
