Did you know over 1 million metro Atlantans go hungry each year?
All Yale Alumni and their families (note restrictions below) are invited to join in our annual Yale Day of Service sorting food at the Atlanta Community Food Bank’s Product Resource Center hosted by the Atlanta Chapter of the Yale School of Management Alumni Association.
This year we’ll be competing with The Harvard Club of Georgia in a Harvard/Yale Game for good to see which school’s alumni can sort through more food for Georgia’s needy families. Last year, Yale alums collectively sorted 6.5 tons of food, providing 10,825 meals to hungry Atlanta-area families. Yale has defeated Harvard in football and basketball this year, let’s make it a triple crown!
The morning will include sorting food and hearing from Martha Brooks, a Yale College and SOM alumnus and member of the ACFB board, followed by a networking lunch at Bartaco on the Westside.
Please plan to attend the entire event (service + lunch courtesy Yale SOM Alumni Relations).
Please wear closed-toe shoes and your favorite Yale University shirt. Snacks and water will be provided
2 additional family members are welcome to attend (age 8 and older). Please let us know as soon as possible if you or a group member cannot make it, so that others may join us.
