Managing Family-Owned Businesses

Tickets are now on sale for the next Portland multi-business-school event on May 13th. (We are revising the layout to address the concerns from January about crowding at the door and to improve flow). The topic will be issues related to the management of family-owned businesses. Such issues as: --When/How to bring in professional management; --Challenges in bringing in non-family mgmt.; --Unique challenges in managing a family business; --Succession planning; --Providing for future generations ; --Where do you go to get advice? The panel will be moderated by Sherri Noxel, PhD Director of the Austin Family Business program at Oregon State University.
