[RESCHEDULED] CT Chapter Planning Meeting (February 2015)

Dear all, Happy New Year! Our CT Chapter group is looking ahead to getting some activities going and would like to discuss ideas at a short planning session on Tuesday, 2/10, at 5:30 at Allison classroom 2210 in Evans Hall. Informal but hopefully fun and productive - pizza will be served so please stop in and enjoy a slice or two and add your voice to the discussion. In the past, we have discussed having a general yearly calendar of events so that folks can anticipate our activities: a summer social event, preferably in some scenic location; the Economic Development panel in the fall; and a winter/spring tour of some sort, probably Yale related. Some new ideas are an alumni industry-focused/ content-driven spring panel that parallels the SOM student interest groups - i.e., healthcare, outreach non-profit, finance, entertainment, social investing, consulting, etc. We haven't put our heads together about this spring idea yet but it would be a nice way to involve the students as well as alums in specific fields who may want to give back and get connected again to SOM.
