Julia Zupko, Assistant Dean and Director of the Yale School of Management Career Development Office (CDO) is offering three sessions on the careers resources available to alumni, with a focus on the GTS recruiting system. Recording: http://mediastream.som.yale.edu/jwplayer6/somacs.html Julia Zupko, Assistant Dean and Director, Career Development Office Julia Zupko is Assistant Dean and Director of the Career Development Office for the MBA Program at the Yale School of Management (SOM). In this capacity, Ms. Zupko is responsible for developing and strengthening relationships that are of value to students and alumni, delivering high-quality professional development programming, and providing guidance and feedback. Ms. Zupko and her team represent the broad-mindedness, intellectual curiosity, high aspirations, and diverse career interests of Yale MBAs to employers, and partners with employers to develop successful strategies to connect with and to recruit Yale SOM talent. Ms. Zupko was a member of the Career Services team at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business for ten years. Most recently she directed career management operations for the school's Chicago, London, and Singapore campuses encompassing Chicago Booth's full-time, evening, weekend, executive and alumni MBA populations. She implemented global strategy and career management programming, marketing, communications and technology initiatives. Prior to her work in Career Services, Ms. Zupko was a Senior Consultant in the healthcare practice for Tucker Alan Inc, where her work focused on state Medicaid operations and health care fraud and abuse issues. Ms. Zupko earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and her MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Ms. Zupko is an engaged member of many organizations, and has served on the Board of Directors for the Eleanor Foundation and the MBA Career Services Council, an international professional association.
