This is a great opportunity for Bay Area alumni to meet current students in town as part of the Bay Area trek. Over the past few years, online business and social networking tools have taken on a greater role in the business world. These tools have helped millions of people build relationships, connect with decision makers, and source job leads more efficiently. While many are familiar with social networking tools such as LinkedIn, few truly understand how to maximize their value while researching job opportunities, networking and presenting one's credentials. In this session, Yale alumni and current students will learn how to best utilize social networking tools including LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter in all aspects of professional life. The session will be followed by a networking reception with light hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar.
