Atlanta Speed Networking Night/Crafting Your Elevator Pitch

Thursday, March 24, 2011 5:30-8:30 pm, registration 5:30-6:00pm 3100 Cumberland Boulevard, Atlanta, GA 30339 Presented by Ann Browning, Kellogg Alumni Career Services Start your job search in the spring on the right track. You will have the opportunity to create and deliver your elevator pitch to a small group of 5-8 people at your table, receive feedback, network with other MBA alumni, and trade company names and contacts. This event is very structured, so you don't have to worry about how to approach people and what to say. It's great for alumni who are uncomfortable with networking. Participants who attended this session had the following comments: "Good to get a number of opinions and constructive criticism to improve my pitch" "Outstanding. A great opportunity to practice with others" We'll spend: • 30 minutes crafting your elevator pitch on our worksheet • 90 minutes speed networking • 30 minutes informal networking Bring lots of business cards and a sense of humor.
