Q Salon: Who Needs Leaders? Boston, MA

Maximum of 25 alumni and guests. Light refreshments will be offered. Join fellow SOM Alumni to discuss Leadership, the topic of the next edition of Qn, the Yale School of Management magazine. Whether you read it ahead of time, or just learn from someone who did, this is an event not to miss. From the Q website: Q8 will examine the question, "Who needs leaders?" In addition to this interview with Victor Vroom, the issue will feature a range of perspectives on leadership, including a discussion with Yale University President Richard C. Levin, SOM Dean Sharon Oster, and SOM Dean Designate Edward A. Snyder; a look at the heroic CEO model; leadership when lives are on the line; and the role of opinion leaders in shaping word-of-mouth.
