Celebration in Honor of Yale Professor David Cromwell, New Haven, CT

Register Here David Cromwell has been teaching at Yale SOM for 15 years (and counting). He has inspired and trained the many aspiring venture capitalists and entrepreneurs among us with his "learn by doing" teaching, "no-nonsense" approach to investing and his exhaustive, thoughtful (and sometimes painful!) feedback. Many of us would not be where we are today – but for the lessons we learned in his class. We (Class of 1996) – his "first class," thought it would be great to honor him – so we invite the many hundreds of you whom David has taught and influenced since he started teaching at SOM in 1997 – to an evening at Mory's in his honor. We are also planning to give him a journal of notes and memories that recount how he has impacted our careers and lives. We encourage sharing fond memories of his wonderful cases, the ensuing all night negotiations, late night "investor committee" hijinks, the businesses you have started (or have dreams of starting), the deals you wish the Sachem Fund had invested in - and the impact David has had on your career. We will also create a memorial album for Professor Cromwell.
