Friday, Jul 9 2010 at 11:00 pm - Sunday, Jul 11 2010 at 9:00 pm EDT

Alumni of the Yale School of Management are invited to participate in the 19th Cranfield MBA Regatta which will take place in the Solent (off the south coast of England) in July. The alumni will have the option of representing the school or their company. The benefits to participating are: As the biggest MBA regatta in Europe, many international business schools will be present, making this an ideal networking opportunity With boats of 6 crew (plus skipper and first mate), it will be a fantastic team-working exercise Many other alumni and large companies have been invited to participate, which will enable the alumni to make valuable contacts In addition to the sailing itself, we have arranged two evening events that will give crews a chance to further network For the alumni, this is an opportunity to advertise their company, should they wish to provide sponsorship to the regatta Should the alumni be suitably qualified, the regatta is also the chance to hone their skipper or first mate skills The cost for a yacht, which accommodates up to 8 people, is £2500. This entry fee will include the use of a Jeanneau 37ft racing yacht, accommodation for the crew, all food, two evening events, mooring fees and safety equipment. Participating crews should ensure that two of their group are suitably qualified as skipper and first mate (qualifications required for both attached in notice of race). If you would like to reserve a place, please email as soon as possible as space is limited and yachts are now being reserved. The 2010 event will be the largest in our history with 30 yachts participating in an exciting race programme.
