SOM Alums in Silicon Valley are invited this month to EcoTuesday Silicon Valley, presenting: Russ Goldin, President of Eat My Dust, speaking on "Cleaning Versus Polluting". Learn why using environmentally friendly cleaning practices isn't just good for the environment, but for your employees, LEED initiatives, and your bottom line. Come hear about the challenges we face and how we can help make a difference in our jobs, our homes, and our communities. Russ Goldin started to sweep floors at age three, but found he wasn't that good at it. He hired his friends to do it for him and paid them with Ding Dongs and chocolate milk. He has a BS from the State University of New York at Stony Brook and a Certificate in Project Management from the University of California, Berkeley. Russ has an extensive background in the high tech industry and excels at project management and sales. EcoTuesday is committed to changing the way people do business. The monthly event provides a structured environment where sustainable business leaders network with one another and gain insight from industry thought-leaders and trendsetters. Everyone in the room quickly learns about everyone else during the "introduction circle". EcoTuesday.com connects participants between events, serves as a hub for conversations and showcases local businesses. REGISTER HERE Cost: $10 pre-register online $20 at the door.
