Networking is a leading prescription for career and business success. Although most of us know this is true, many don't really know how to do it effectively and efficiently. So we are pleased to offer this event that will allow you to conduct 10 brief, yet highly focused, networking meetings with fellow alumni. Networking isn't only helpful for careers. You may want to use networking as a way of identifying potential business contacts, building new relationships, finding potential mentors or advisors, or just for connecting with former classmates or fellow alumni in similar or different functions and industries. Whether you are thinking of making a career transition, building your business, or just meeting interesting alumni this could be a valuable event for you to attend. Speed Networking Profile Upon registration and payment, you will receive a confirmation email with a link to complete your personal profile and select, from the pre-designated fields, alumni with whom you wish to network with at the event. Please note: The profile will be used to match you with participants who share similar objectives for their networking meetings. Please be sure to fill out your profile prior to the event. Complimentary Individual Career Sessions On Wednesday, March 18 and Thursday March 19, Chris Young will also be available to conduct complimentary individual career sessions with alumni who might like to receive personalized advice on their careers. Chris can review resumes, help with career strategy or offer guidance from his many years in the recruiting and outplacement business. Please contact Chris directly at in advance to reserve a one-hour slot. Please join us for what promises to be a fun and productive evening of interaction with D.C. alumni.
