Photo Recap: Yale Summer School in Behavioral Finance 2022
This past June, the Yale School of Management International Center for Finance hosted about 50 PhD students from around the world to participate in the Yale Summer School in Behavioral Finance 2022. The students participated in a number of behavioral finance lectures mostly led by faculty organizer, Nicholas Barberis, which served as the backbone of the course. Additional guest speakers presented during the week on their research in different areas of behavioral finance.
Three SOM faculty taught sessions on behavioral finance including Professors James Choi and Kelly Shue. Interestingly, one speaker this year was actually Summer School alum! Professor Yueran Ma (University of Chicago) participated in the 2015 session. Other speakers included Professors Andrei Shleifer (Harvard University), Stefan Nagel (University of Chicago), and Jeremy Stein (Harvard University) and Michael Woodford (Columbia University).
