Prof. William Goetzmann Appointed Executive Editor of the CFA Institute Financial Analysts Journal
The Yale ICF would like to congratulate ICF Faculty Director, William Goetzmann, on his appointment as the new Executive Editor of the CFA Institute’s Financial Analysts Journal (the Journal)! Professor Goetzmann is honored to join the Journal as Executive Editor because it has been a key venue for publishing papers on ethical investment management over the last 76 years. The journal has an expanding global readership and CFA members are at the forefront of setting professional and fiduciary standards in their own countries.
On a more personal level, Professor Goetzmann published his very first academic article in the Journal in 1986. He also received the CFA Institute’s Vertin Award in 2018 which recognizes individuals who have produced a body of research notable for its relevance and enduring value to investment professionals.
