Colloquium on Marketing Leadership
Throughout the academic year, the Center for Customer Insights invites a number of leading marketing and insights experts to give talks to students at the Yale School of Management. These talks, usually held over lunch, encourage a rich dialogue between students and leaders from a wide range of industries including consumer packaged goods, retail, consulting, healthcare, and technology.

Sid Ratna serves as the chief marketing officer for Vanguard Financial Advisor Services™ (FAS), having joined the company in2021. In his role, he collaborates closely with the FAS business to expand and preserve market share, enhance brand perception, and serve as a trusted advisor to financial advisors. Sid is driven by his passion for crafting exceptional client experiences, empowering his team, and fostering company growth. His initiatives have spanned lead-to-revenue campaigns, digital client acquisition and cross-selling, creative and content strategy, MarTech deployment, branding and advertising tactics, sales enablement solutions, and the use of predictive analytics.
Before his current position, Sid held several senior roles at J.P. Morgan, including U.S. chief marketing & analytics officer, global sales enablement & analytics officer, and global information head, where he focused on data science, analytics, and business intelligence. In these capacities, he leveraged artificial intelligence, machine learning, and advanced analytics to boost revenue and achieve “distribution alpha.” His efforts significantly improved programmatic, demand generation and paid media strategies, while increasing targeting accuracy and ROAS (return on ad spend).
Sid earned an M.B.A. from the Yale School of Management, specializing in banking, corporate finance, and securities law, and a B.A. in economics from McGill University.

Matt Chmura (SOM '18)

Matthew Chmura is the Chief Marketing, Communications and Brand Officer of the LPGA. In this role he is responsible for overseeing the strategy and execution of all marketing, communications and content initiatives along with fan acquisition, engagement and retention efforts.
Chmura’s professional philosophy is based in driving innovation and creativity to maximize revenue while maintaining a consumer centric marketing approach. Before joining the LPGA, he was most recently the Chief Marketing Officer of Leader Bank in Massachusetts. Prior to that he spent 15 years with the Boston Bruins, where he was responsible for the business’ overall communications and marketing strategies while overseeing omni-channel marketing, branding, content, media relations and community relation’s efforts as the team’s Vice President of Marketing and Communications. Notably during his time with the Bruins, Chmura has won five New England Emmy Awards for his role as executive producer and writer for ‘Behind the B’ and ‘Bruins Academy’, as well as a Clio Award for Best Integrated Campaign. In 2011 he was honored with his name being etched on the Stanley Cup, and he has been awarded two President’s Trophies and three Prince of Whales trophies.
Prior to joining the Bruins, Chmura also spent time in the communications departments of the New York Red Bulls, New England Revolution, Tennessee Titans and New England Patriots and has written for the Boston Herald. Chmura earned an MBA from Yale University’s School of Management (Yale SOM) and a BA in Political Science from College of the Holy Cross – where he later served as a Trustee. Currently Matthew sits on the Ladies European Tour (LET) Joint Venture Board of Directors, the Greater Orlando Sports Commission Board of Directors, the Board of Overseers for Boston Children’s Hospital and is a member of the ‘Champion’s for Children’ committee. Matthew has also been a part of various philanthropic efforts with the Taunton Boy’s & Girl’s Club, the Bay State Games, and Good Sport. Matthew and his family reside in Winter Park, FL and Marion, MA.

Antonio Lucio

Antonio rejoined HP Inc as Chief Marketing and Corporate Affairs Officer in 2024, having previously served as Chief Marketing and Communications Officer following the separation of Hewlett-Packard Company in 2015. Under his leadership, HP reframed its vision, mission and brand while growing revenue and market share.
Antonio is a recognized thought leader and global influencer in marketing transformation. Inducted into the American Advertising Federation Hall of Fame in April 2023, Forbes Most Influential CMOs Hall of Fame in June 2022 and the American Marketing Association Hall of Fame in May 2022, he is one of the very few to be recognized by these three prestigious distinctions and is one of the world’s most experienced and successful marketing leaders. Throughout his career, Antonio has been successful in driving growth by building businesses, brands and marketing teams that have stood the test of time, working with some of the most recognized companies and iconic brands, across multiple industries. In addition to HP, he has held Global CMO roles for Meta and Visa, as well as the role of Chief Innovation and Portfolio Transformation Officer for PepsiCo.
Antonio is a celebrated and award-winning champion of diversity, equity, and inclusion by organizations like ANA/AIMM, AdColor, Adweek and PRWeek, among others. He is the co-founder of Virtuosi LEAP, the Leadership Empowerment Acceleration Project aimed at advancing marketing practice through transformational leadership skills and DEI. Antonio is also an Executive Fellow at Yale SOM, and is a mentor to some of the world's most renowned CMOs.
He earned a B.A. in history from Louisiana State University. He was born in Spain, raised in Puerto Rico, and currently resides in San Francisco. He is fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese. Antonio is based in Palo Alto, California.
