ICF hosts first Blockchain Bootcamp

On February 25, 2023, the Yale SOM Blockchain Club and the International Center for Finance hosted Yale’s first Blockchain Bootcamp.

This event brought together seventeen speakers across eight sessions, and forty students came to listen and learn. Given the industry events of the past year and current market conditions, having so many students engaging with blockchain is truly amazing to see. We are grateful for and want to extend a heartfelt thank you to all those who attended and, of course, to our wonderful speakers.

As a recap, we talked about the following -

→ Blockchain basics with SOM Professor Kyle Jensen
→ Industry landscape with Sophia Zhao 趙念菲 and Luke Xiao
→ Cryptoassets with Zach Wong and Conrad Kraft
→ DeFi with Miller Whitehouse-Levine and Ben Sparango Jr.
→ The creator economy with SOM Professor Magnus ReschDouglas Borthwick, and Brandon Galang
→ Governance & DAOs with Peter Sjolander and Peter Bowman-Davis
