ICF Hosts the 2023 Impact Investing Conference at Evans Hall
The ICF welcomed over 200 attendees to the Yale School of Management on Saturday, April 22, 2023 for the Yale Impact Investing Conference.
As the world faces pressing challenges such as climate change, social inequality, and access to basic needs, the demand for impactful investments has never been higher. Impact investing has emerged as a popular investment approach that seeks to generate positive social or environmental impact alongside financial returns. Despite the growth of impact investing, there are still many challenges to be addressed. How can we ensure that impact investments are truly making a difference? How can we measure the social and environmental impact of investments? How can we align the interests of investors, entrepreneurs, and communities to create sustainable impact? How will opposition to ESG frameworks affect current and future strategies?
These are some of the questions that were explored in the 2023 Yale Impact Investing Conference.
