The leaves are changing, students are back on campus, and Thanksgiving approaches.

James Huerta brings his experience working with students from under-resourced backgrounds and a commitment to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion in education to his new role at The Broad Center at Yale SOM.

Drew Waddell is the chief financial officer for The Kindezi Schools, where he oversees financial strategic initiatives, operations and reporting services for the network’s schools. He was part of The Broad Residency in 2018-2020. 

As a Broad Resident (2017-2019), Neil Dwyer was a senior manager of school support at Camden City School District.

Paulina currently serves as the Director of Student Outreach and Enrollment at Citizens of the World Public Charter Schools Los Angeles. She is an alumna of The Broad Residency (2015-2017).

Jerre currently serves as the Associate Director of Advancement at Jobs for the Future.  As a Broad Resident (2018-2020), Jerre served as the Director of Student Readiness and Pathways at the Tennessee Department of Education. 

The Broad Center at Yale SOM will welcome an inaugural cohort of approximately 30 emerging public education leaders to its 14-month, tuition-free master’s in public education management in the summer of 2022.

After attending law school, Taamiti worked for Denver Public Schools and Uncommon Schools. He participated in The Broad Residency in 2019-2021.

Dennis currently serves as the Director of Finance at KIPP SoCal Public Schools and is an alumnus of The Broad Residency (2017-2019).
