Jeffrey Sonnenfeld, Senior Associate Dean and Lester Crown Professor of Leadership Practice at the Yale School of Management, and advisor to the historic Abraham Accords as co-moderator of the Peace to Prosperity Summit in Bahrain, which laid the groundwork for the normalization of relations between Israel and Arab countries, will host a special Middle East Peace dialogue, including in-person Q&A with members of the Yale University community at 11:30 AM on Wednesday, November 15th

Sonnenfeld will be joined by special guests including UAE Ambassador Yousef Al Otaiba, Israeli Ambassador Michael Herzog, former Senior Presidential Adviser and author of the Abraham Accords Jared Kushner, former Special Assistant to President Obama for the Middle East Ambassador Dennis Ross, and interfaith clergy including Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf, Imam of Masjid Al-Farah, and Rabbi Herbert Brockman, seventh-generation rabbi of Congregation Mishkan Israel. This forum will be the first public dialogue between senior Arab government officials and senior Israeli government officials since the tragic Hamas attacks on October 7th.

This forum is intended to advance peaceful solutions, which cannot be achieved without bringing together the broad spectrum of perspectives across faiths, political parties, and backgrounds that our special guests represent. We do not expect attendees to agree with every guest, but we expect the Yale community to accord them respect without disruption to ensure a productive dialogue.
