Academic Camps

At Y-SIM Academic Camps, interdisciplinary groups of distinguished scholars and thought leaders exchange ideas to push our collective thinking forward.

As part of our research setting agenda, Y-SIM leadership identifies an emerging topic from our CEO interviews, develops focused questions, and hand-selects leading experts to share their findings. This cross-pollination of scholars and thought leaders from various disciplines creates new pathways for inquiry and leads to fresh perspectives and innovative solutions. Participants leave with refined ideas, potential collaborations and inspiration for their work.

Purpose and Values Academic Camp

Our research has found that today's business leaders seek practical ways to operationalize purpose and values across multiple stakeholders; internal and external.

In April 2024, Y-SIM convened top scholars and thought leaders in stakeholder management to explore how purpose and values embedded within organizational culture and strategy can drive stakeholder engagement, organizational growth, and performance.

The event examined how new thinking in this area can address the challenge of moving from idea to action.
