Research Team

Simran is a second-year MBA candidate at Yale School of Management. Prior to SOM, Simran worked as a Commercial Planning Strategist across the consumer packaged goods and healthcare sectors. Her most recent assignment was with GSK Pakistan, where she worked on strategy related to entering the adult vaccination market.

Simran holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance from the Institute of Business Administration (IBA) in Karachi, Pakistan. At SOM, she serves as President of the South Asia Club and is co-leading the Social Impact Lab.

Sharon is a second-year MBA candidate at Yale SOM. Prior to SOM, Sharon was a Senior Business Immigration Consultant at Fragomen in New York. At SOM, she is a member of the Social Impact Consulting leadership team.

Sharon graduated from Lafayette College with a B.A. in International Affairs.

Martha is a second-year MBA student at Yale SOM with a background in law, economics, and corporate finance. Prior to Yale, she worked in the insurance sector as Head of FP&A at Murguía. She also worked in the fintech industry, supporting strategic initiatives to promote financial inclusion across Mexico and Colombia.

She is passionate about creating opportunities for underserved communities. She has contributed to organizations, such as Dress for Success and founded a STEM summer camp in Mexico to inspire young girls to explore careers in science and technology. At SOM, she is part of the leadership team for the Entrepreneurship Through Acquisition (ETA) Club.

Aashima is an MBA candidate at Yale School of Management. Prior to SOM, she was a technology strategy consultant at Accenture, where she advised global high-tech companies on growth strategy, digital transformation, and large-scale business transformation.

At Yale, she has worked on consulting projects through the Yale Center for Customer Insights, including work with the LPGA, and is actively involved in building community within the South Asia ecosystem on campus. Following her MBA, Aashima will join Boston Consulting Group as a consultant.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Lady Shri Ram College for Women, University of Delhi.

Ayush is a Mellon Fellow at Yale University. His studies focus on AI and legal tech, as well as on the policing of hip-hop music.

Prior to coming to Yale, Ayush graduated with First-Class Honours in Law from the University of Cambridge and spent a year abroad at the University of Regensburg. He has also founded two startups, both focusing on using tech to simplify tedious tasks.
