April Koh (Co-Founder & CEO, Spring Health) Featured on Cover of TIME
April Koh (YC '16) was recently named one of TIME's "World's Most Influential Rising Stars" for her leadership at Spring Health.
On September 30, April Koh (YC ‘ 16) appeared on the cover of TIME as one of the publication’s “2025 World’s Most Influential Rising Stars.” The list highlights 100 innovators, phenoms, artists, leaders, and advocates whose work has had profound impacts on a community and global scale.
April Koh is the founder of Spring Health, an AI-powered platform that works with employers to connect employees with mental health providers and resources. She graduated from Yale College in 2016 after taking a leave of absence during her junior year to work on her first startup, Spylight. In a visit to SOM during a Women’s Innovator Breakfast event in 2018, April credited Yale’s innovation ecosystem for the inspiration to pursue a path of entrepreneurship.
Today, Spring Health has grown into a global resource for employees, families, and communities seeking appropriate and effective mental healthcare. It was recently valued at more than $3 billion.
