Y-SIM plays an important role in the school’s mission to educate leaders for business and society by teaching students how to create and sustain value for shareholders and other stakeholders—employees, customers, civil society, governments, the planet—that matter to a company’s long-term success.

Stakeholder innovation and management is an interdisciplinary practice that includes:

  • Organizational Behavior
  • Innovation
  • Economics
  • Finance
  • Leadership
  • Marketing

All first-year students will gain exposure to real-world, multi-stakeholder challenges and opportunities in the core curriculum. As the Y-SIM program evolves, research will be incorporated into a range of electives through case studies, principles, and frameworks.

Yale SOM students can also engage in the program through participating in events and Research Associate positions. Email Y-SIM for more information and to apply.
