Beyond the Bottom Line: Spring 2019 Guests
A wide array of guests visited the Program on Entrepreneurship at Yale SOM during the Spring 2019 semester to share their expertise with the community. In addition to giving class lectures and meeting with students for office hours, many offered their time to record an episode of Associate Director of Entrepreneurship Jennifer McFadden’s Beyond the Bottom Line podcast. Each guest provides a unique perspective to the field of entrepreneurship as they discuss their personal experiences in their particular field. Utilizing her background and experience with startups, finance and the cannabis industry she serves as a strategic advisor to early stage venture leaders and investors. Her experiences range from consulting to hedge funds to venture capital.

In this episode, we speak with Maribel Lieberman, Founder of MarieBelle New York. Located in Brooklyn, NY MarieBelle produces gourmet chocolates using a bean-to-bar process and quality cacao beans. Maribel has also opened up shops in Kyoto and Tokyo, Japan and Dubai. Inc. Magazine named MarieBelle New York as one of “the fastest growing private companies in America” in 2012.
