Looking Back at Global Network Week
They watched robots animate in Japan and toured the top innovation companies in Israel. They spoke with executives from leading financial institutions in New York and visited facilities in Brazil with FIFA officials ahead of the World Cup. Students from Yale SOM and across the Global Network for Advanced Management participated in the largest Global Network Weeks to date in March, with 470 students traveling to member schools during two installments of weeklong mini courses.
The popular network weeks provided students with the opportunity to learn from experts on the Chilean and Turkish business models, behavioral economics and marketing, and the aftermath of the Eurozone crisis, among other topics. They visited leading companies across the world, learning how their host countries approach business issues. They also made new connections with fellow MBA students outside of the classroom that helped to broaden their perspectives.
