Academics

The Yale School of Management’s academic expertise, coupled with partnerships with C-level leaders and entrepreneurs from industry, offer a rich environment for undertaking the big, complex challenges that emerge when creating long-term value for both shareholders and stakeholders.

The Y-SIM interdisciplinary program gathers the strongest minds driven by intellectual curiosity and real-world application across many areas of the school, including:

  • Organizational Behavior
  • Innovation
  • Economics
  • Finance
  • Leadership
  • Marketing

Consistent with Yale SOM’s mission, we do not view the question of stakeholder management as an ‘or,’ trading off shareholders versus other stakeholders, but rather as an ‘and’—how collaborating with, and creating value for key stakeholders, broadens the way in which organizations can create and sustain value for its shareholders more effectively.
