A Letter from Frederick Frank YC ’54

As a long-term member of the Yale School of Management’s Board of Advisors, I share with many a commitment to continuing to build the already exceptional environment for management education offered at Yale SOM. Though I am a graduate of Yale College, not SOM (the School had not yet been established when I went to Stanford GSB in 1956), I have endowed two professorships at SOM and supported the construction of Edward P. Evans Hall as well as given unrestricted funding to the School each year.

A spirit of alumni generosity impacts every part of the University. The Yale SOM Alumni Fund brings the community together in supporting the growth of the School with flexible, current-use funding. Yale SOM graduates lead the University in Alumni Fund participation, and this unity and collaboration reflects the unified and collaborative culture of the School.

To encourage even broader participation, I am reaching out to alumni like you who haven’t given to the Alumni Fund yet this year and am offering an additional gift of $200 in your honor for any donation you make to the Fund during the month of May, up to a total of $50,000. I understand that over 90% of alumni have given to SOM at some point since they graduated, and I hope this challenge will inspire you to give now and join in supporting this special place as it continues to advance.
