Dean Kerwin K. Charles welcomed new students in Yale SOM’s residential master’s degree program in a virtual address delivered as part of a three-day orientation program at the end of August, in advance of the start of classes on August 31.

Three Yale SOM Degree Programs Receive STEM Designation

Students in three master’s degree programs at the Yale School of Management now have the opportunity to qualify for an additional two-year STEM extension of their Post-Completion OPT work permission. To be eligible, students in the MBA and Master of Advanced Management (MAM) programs will complete a newly created concentration in management science. All students in the Master’s Degree in Asset Management program, which will welcome its first students this fall, will qualify.
