We assemble students who bring a strong set of values to our community, and the Yale SOM experience is designed to help each of them hone and strengthen their sense of individual purpose. Being part of a community with this orientation serves as training for cultivating healthy communities in organizations of all sorts and scales.

Auction Night is the Internship Fund’s biggest fundraiser of the year. While most MBA interns expect to receive generous stipends and salaries for our work over the summer, many of our classmates pursuing nonprofit, public sector, and social impact internships aren’t as fortunate. In alignment with the School of Management’s mission of educating leaders for business and society, the Internship Fund was created so that students pursuing these types of internships could do so without regard for financial constraints.

Solving challenges together

The community is united by the belief that acting on our mission requires us to address the biggest and most pressing challenges in the world today. Such problems can’t be solved through solitary gestures—it takes teamwork, an ability to leverage human capital, and the building of active connections between people, ideas, and resources. You’ll collaborate with students and others to take on issues you care deeply about.

Having fun together

The SOM community thrives on camaraderie, offering ample opportunities for students to bond, unwind, and engage in various extracurricular activities. Whether it's participating in student clubs, attending networking events, or exploring the local area together, fun is an integral part of campus culture at Yale SOM.
