EMBA Class of 2026 Selects Annual Teaching Award Winners
Students honored Lorenzo Caliendo, who teaches the core Global Macroeconomy course, and Carlos Reyes ’04, who teaches Sustainable Investment in Private Markets.
Lorenzo Caliendo, Won Park Hahn Professor of Global Affairs and Management and professor of economics, and Carlos Reyes ’04, lecturer in the practice of management, have won this year’s MBA for Executives Teaching Awards. The EMBA Class of 2026 selected the two winners in a vote.
Caliendo was honored for his teaching of The Global Macroeconomy in the core curriculum. This is his sixth time winning the award.
“Receiving this teaching award from my students is especially meaningful to me,” Caliendo said. “Teaching has always been something I take deeply seriously. Seeing this graduating class grow, challenge themselves, and reach this milestone is one of my greatest privileges and joys. Thanks and congratulations!”
Reyes, a graduate of the MBA program and managing director and head of sustainability at the private equity firm Palladium Equity Partners, was honored for elective teaching. He teaches the course Sustainable Investment in Private Markets.
“This award genuinely means so much to me,” Reyes said. “It’s a reminder of what I kept coming back to in class—that at the end of the day, business is about people, and the best leaders never lose sight of that.”
