Yale SOM Students Present at MIINT Pitch-off
On February 26, 2025, Yale School of Management hosted its internal pitch-off for the MBA Impact Investing Network & Training (MIINT) competition. The International Center for Finance is a proud sponsor of MIINT at Yale. Five teams of students presented their investment theses, each aiming to secure the opportunity to represent Yale at the Global Turner MIINT Finals at Wharton on April 4. The winning team receives $50k+ investment in their chosen startup. This year, over 600 students from across the globe competed.
The teams presented diverse impact investment opportunities, that reflect Yale's commitment to addressing pressing global issues. These included ventures focused on financial inclusion, the future of work, climate change, and food systems/nutrition. The breadth of these proposals highlighted the interdisciplinary approach fostered by Yale, combined perspectives from the School of Management, the School of Public Health, and the School of Forestry & Environmental Studies. This collaborative environment not only enriches the students' learning experiences but also reinforces Yale's leadership in impact investing education.
