Qipoa Fashion Show at Yale SOM

The Greater China Club celebrated its Mid-Autumn festival with a Qipao fashion show. Mid-autumn is the day in the year of the lunar calendar that has the brightest moon of the year. Typically this day is close to the Autumn Equinox, but varies year to year.

To celebrate the festival, Gigi Zhang '15 utilized her knowledge of China’s fashion industry to organize a Qipao fashion show. Qipao is a traditional Chinese dress that is very form fitting, yet retains tradition in design.
